Ash Processing Systems

Mouat is a leader in the Industrial Mineral processing industry having
designed and built turnkey material handling, drying and/or grinding
systems for a large variety of raw materials and finished product. Mouat’s
decades of experience with drying and/or grinding industrial minerals has
crossed over in application with the relatively young market for drying
waste ash for use in cement. This includes the complete design and
construction of a receiving, drying, screening, and truck loading facility at
a major Southeastern utility.



Mouat utilizes 3-D modeling to incorporate the drying system and all other
peripheral systems. Systems feeding the dryer typically include receiving
hoppers, metal removal, and prescreening of rocks before the ash can be
dried. Finished product is removed from the dryer, screened into multiple
products, and stored in silos awaiting loadout.
