CLIENT OBJECTIVE

Greenfield foundry to produce steel ground engagement tool castings for Caterpillar.

SCOPE OF PROJECT

Install new no-bake molding system, new and used sand system equipment, used melting system, new casting heat treat system, new casting processing and handling system, new coremaking system, new environmental system, new building, and new infrastructure facilities.

Design plant layout.

Design, provide, and install molding system, sand system, casting processing and handling system, environmental systems and electrical controls.

Install melting and hot metal delivery system.

Provide and install casting heat treat and quench system.

Palmer sand mixing and mold handling equipment, Mathews powered roller convey.

Sand Processing:
General Kinematics shakeout, Kloster lump breaker and sand cooler.

Melting:
Used electric arc furnaces.

Casting Processing:
Consolidated Engineering Corporation heat treat and quench system, Wheelabrator shot blast machines.

Casting Processing:
Laempe core machine.
