CLIENT OBJECTIVE
Replace 2032 Disamatic destroyed by fire with 2070B Disamatic to produce core product (grey iron boiler).
 SCOPE OF PROJECT
Install new, larger Disamatic.
Add sand cooling, pressure pour furnace, casting handling and cooling.
MOUAT RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, provide and install new sand cooling system, automatic hot metal delivery system, casting handling and cooling system, electrical controls, and environmental upgrade.
Provide and install automatic pouring furnace.
Install new molding machine.
MAJOR EQUIPMENT LISTING
Molding:
One Disamatic 2070B molding machine.
Sand Processing:
Mouat system, including one Hartley sand cooler, upgrade B&P 100B/200 muller to B&P 100B/250.
Hot Metal Processing:
One Inductotherm automatic pouring furnace.
Casting Processing:
General Kinematics high-frequency shakeout, vibratory despruing and cooling conveyors; Action casting manipulator. |
